Despite its immense cognitive benefits, we have yet to accord the game its rightful value or leverage it for the development of future generations. Currently, it is a staple of "vijiweni" (social hubs) and bustling business centers, drawing participants from all walks of life.

In contrast, many European and Asian nations utilize board games as strategic tools to enhance critical thinking and nurture young talent within their school systems. Games like Chess and Checkers are professionally structured into competitive tiers, fostering high levels of community engagement and creating economic opportunities for players.

Tanzania, and Africa at large, lacks robust systems to identify and cultivate talent in board games. However, with the current technological advancements, we have a golden opportunity to bridge this gap. **Tzdraft** is a platform born out of the vision to see a sustainable evolution in Checkers, Chess, and traditional games like *Bao la Kete*. By leveraging digital systems, Tzdraft aims to coordinate national competitions, boost community participation, and integrate these age-old games into the modern technological ecosystem for the benefit of society.
